Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has departed for Egypt to attend the Eleventh Summit of the Developing Eight (D-8) countries. The three-day summit focuses on the theme, “Investing in Youth and Supporting SMEs: Shaping Tomorrow’s Economy,” and aims to explore pathways for sustainable economic development through youth empowerment and small business growth.
Representing Pakistan, PM Shehbaz Sharif is expected to deliver a keynote address emphasizing the critical role of investing in youth and small and medium enterprises (SMEs). These efforts, he believes, are key to fostering economic resilience in an increasingly competitive global landscape.
A Vision for Youth and SMEs
During his address, PM Shehbaz will reiterate Pakistan’s dedication to the core principles of the D-8 and highlight recent initiatives focused on youth development and entrepreneurial support.
