Pakistani Pilot and Indian Tourist Die in UAE’s Ras Al Khaimah Plane Crash

A tragic incident occurred off the coast of Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates, claiming the lives of two individuals, including a Pakistani pilot. The crash involved a small plane operated by a private tourism aviation club, primarily used for sightseeing purposes.

The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) confirmed the incident on December 26, stating that investigations are underway to uncover the exact cause of the crash. Among the victims was 26-year-old Frianza Parveen, a Pakistani pilot, and 26-year-old Sulaymaan Al Majid, an Indian doctor who had hired the plane for a sightseeing experience. The plane went down near the Cove Rotana Hotel, just off the beach, shortly after takeoff around 2 p.m.

Heartbreakingly, Sulaymaan’s family had been present at the aviation club to witness his sightseeing journey when the tragedy unfolded. Diplomatic officials have confirmed that the remains of the Pakistani pilot will be repatriated to Pakistan.

This devastating accident serves as a reminder of the risks associated with aviation activities and leaves two families mourning profound losses. Authorities continue to investigate the incident to ensure such tragedies can be prevented in the future.
