PIA to Resume Flights to Europe from January 10

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is all set to reconnect with Europe as it resumes its flight operations to Paris starting January 10, 2025. This development marks a significant milestone for Pakistan’s national flag carrier, aiming to facilitate travelers with direct and convenient options.

A Strategic Move to Reestablish Global Connectivity

PIA’s spokesperson announced that the initial phase of these operations will include two weekly flights to Paris. This strategic route is designed to provide seamless travel for passengers, especially business travelers and tourists, keen on direct connectivity to Europe.

The first flight will take off from Islamabad to Paris on January 10. The airline plans to increase the frequency of flights gradually, ensuring that it meets growing passenger demand effectively.

Flight Schedule Tailored for Convenience

The flight timings have been meticulously planned to prioritize passenger comfort. Departures from Islamabad are scheduled at 11:30 AM (Pakistan time), landing in Paris by 4:00 PM (local time). Return flights from Paris will leave at 6:00 PM (local time), reaching Islamabad by 5:00 AM (Pakistan time).

This schedule allows passengers to enjoy breakfast in Pakistan and savor lunch in Paris—making the journey as smooth and hassle-free as possible.

Bookings Now Open

PIA has officially started accepting bookings for these flights. The announcement has been met with enthusiasm from travelers, especially expatriates and tourists seeking direct travel options to Europe. The reintroduction of these flights underscores PIA’s commitment to enhancing its international operations and providing superior service.

Future Plans on the Horizon

While the initial focus is on Paris, PIA intends to gradually expand its European network, potentially including more destinations and increased frequencies. This initiative aligns with the airline’s broader strategy to rebuild its reputation and reestablish Pakistan’s global aviation presence.

With the countdown to January 10 underway, travelers can look forward to reconnecting with Europe through PIA’s renewed operations.
